Made part through the Warhol Foundation is this video documentation of the procession through Dave Greber's installation at May gallery & residency, New Orleans in 2016.

Lotte Geeven is a multi-media artist based in the Netherlands. Her concept is of filming a silver sphere during the dark hours, on the poorly lit streets of New Orleans; a video concerned with the autonomy, character and mystery of a lifeless object. After long conversations about cameras, film speeds, and exposure we ended up putting together a recording from the book she published during her residency at The May Gallery, “the river” (a canto of literary references to the Mississippi river), a “living portrait” and a tonal documentary that tracks a parade of people marching to Canal Street carrying the silver sphere above their heads, practically celebrating its existence. The sound design for the doc is itself self-referential–incorporating the buzzing and clicks of the hard drive as it played back the footage.

Amazing collab between KSHMR and Bassjackers, presenting the beautifully melodic Memories. As the chords sway you away, the electro drop and fetching vocals by Sirah do their part to blow the dancefloor to bits. Making this track work on multiple levels, body and mind taken on a trip into the world of a couple of mastermind producers. BIG!
